Review: Air VaporMax Flyknit

March Maxness was amazing on its own. Then Nike hit us with these. It all started with a phone call I received at work. It’s my younger brother telling me I got a package from Nike Sportswear. At first I was confused, as I haven’t ordered anything in a while. But little bro opens the package and BOOM, I get a snap of the Air Max Day ID Air VaporMax.

As soon as I got off work, I went to the parents’ house and scooped the goodies from my brother. Then I rushed home to get my chance to see them in person. I don’t really need to say much about the colourway as it’s one of the best combinations out there. If you put together the Nike-patented Flyknit and some new exposed Air Max pods you have these amazingly crafted Air VaporMax.

The next day I decided to take them out for a test run. As soon as you slide your foot into the shoe itself the Flyknit hugs every inch of your foot (side note: should you have wide feett, like myself, allow a couple hours of wear for the Flyknit to loosen up and stretch).

As I was walking around running errands with the family, I got to enjoy the “walking on a cloud” feel of the Air Max. The way Nike laid out the pods is perfect; as they provide cushioning to the crucial areas of the foot. After the errands were finished, the shoe started to feel and fit amazingly on my feet. I decided to take these beauties out for a “test run”.

Final verdict, these are one of the best runners I have had in a while. From the Flyknit, to the new VaporMax pods; this pair gives you an amazing energy return, as the foot hits the ground. These are by far one of the most well-crafted sneakers from the Swoosh family. But don’t just take my word for it; take the leap into the future and try them out!
